Fall leaf; Prismacolor Pencils

The Husband and I took the dogs for a walk but I had a secondary agenda while we were out and about; Take pictures of pretty leaves so I can draw them!

He was a good sport and found a nice shaped leaf for me. (below is the picture of that one) So after my lesson on the last leaf I drew with dew drops I was feeling a bit more confident. I first sketched out the leaf that we found off of the picture on my phone. Once I got my lines in the desired shape I started to fill in my highlights and shadows. Then slowly shaded in colors. I also took a few more pictures so there might be more of these in the future.

The Inspiration!

Sorry this picture is a little dark but here is a closer look.

So I'm really loving doing these sketches and coloring for the fall season. Like many Fall is my favorite time of the year.
